Objective:
Students will be able to write a monologue, with an authentic voice, based on one of the topics provided. Students will also be able to block a scene of dialogue. Do Now: Students will work independently to answer a prompt projected on the board (minimum of 5 complete sentences). Whole Class: I'll take a few moments to remind students of the following:
Independent: -Assignment 1: In Google Classroom, open up both "Write Your Own Monologue for a Performance" posted on September 18 and "Write Your Own Monologue 2" posted on October 2.
-Assignment 2: Find a trusted peer to fill out a Peer-Evaluation of "Write Your Own Monologue 2"
Collaborative: -Assignment 1: With your elbow partner, provide stage directions (write them in shorthand) for the scene "Breaking the Code"
