Objective:

Then, as a class, we'll demonstrate the basics of storytelling with the creative exercise "Round Robin." Independent: -Assignment 1:
Collaborative: -Assignment 1 (10 minutes): With your elbow partner, provide stage directions (write them in shorthand) for the scene "Breaking the Code"
-Assignment 2: Students will complete the "Scholastic Conflict Questionnaire"
-Assignment 3: Students will complete the "Story Map" handout. All students will be writing a short scene involving 2 or 3 characters, with some type of minor conflict. The short scene can be funny or serious (comedic or dramatic), but it has to be something one of your classmates could potentially act out.
