Objective:
Students will be able to analyze the character in the monologue through the use of professional character analysis methods. Do Now: Students will work independently to answer a prompt projected on the board (minimum of 5 complete sentences). Whole Class: I'll take a few moments to remind students of the following:
Independent: Assignment 1: Students will submit a compilation of their V.O. audio clips by uploading all 3 into a Digital Voice Over Portfolio. This will act as final product, and therefore, will count as a quiz grade.
Assignment 2 (if you didn't finish):
Go to Google Classroom and open up"Monologue Character Analysis (for Your Monologue 2)" and complete the questions.
-Assignment 4: (if you finish early) Review the following Quizlet for basic Theater acting terms. Collaborative: Part 1: Students will engage in several acting exercises aimed at developing believable characters. Part 2: Students will practice acting out a new script out loud, to an elbow partner. Whole Class: Students will start/continue to write the lines for their sketch comedy with their partner.
