Objective: Students will be able to recall the characters and plot of Macbeth, in addition to, being able to identify and discuss the themes in the play. Do Now: Students will work independently to answer a prompt projected on the board (minimum of 4 complete sentences). Whole Class: I'll take a few moments to inform/remind students of the following:
Independent: Students will finish and turn in their Macbeth study guides. Then, students will take a Macbeth quick check (<--- click) They will be able to take it twice. Then, students will browse through the various end of unit projects they can choose from, pick one, and start to research/write/brainstorm ideas to start their project in class. During the last 20 minutes of class, students will read the Achieve article "Sentenced to Shakespeare" Collaborative: Students will do several "pair and share"s throughout the period to summarize what they've learned and ask clarifying questions of their partner. Additionally, if students chose a project that requires a partner, they will start the project with their partner today in class. Exit Tickets: Fill out and submit the Google Form (<- click there).
